VORONEEZH, RUSSIA: EYE-POPPING pictures show the slow-motion world of how a snail reacts to droplets and can even “walk” on water. The tiny explorer appears to study the water droplets as it fell around it, used his slimy foot to glide over the surface of puddles and even tried to drink a raindrop as it explodes next to him. Engineer Vadim Turnov (30) captured the images as part of an experiment to see just how much grape snails love water.
