Dinant is the home town of Adolphe Sax, inventor of the Saxophone. Replicas of saxophones line the bridge over the Meuse River

Dinant honors its famous son Adolphe Sax. The bridge over the River Meuse was destroyed in both wars and rebuilt. Today it is lined with stylistic saxophones created in the spirit of the nations of the European Union as part of the Dinant's tribute to Adolphe Sax.
