This is a fungus bearing the name Darluca filum,Cart., that is well understood as preying upon the generally. Tothe naked eye, the fungus, as seen in the field, gives the rusty plant amoldy appearance. This light gray color is due to multitudes of fine ASPARAGUS RUST. 83. Figure 2. 1.
