Fig. 275.—Trigonocephalus. taken—eleven in number—in order to form a just idea of the capacity,shape, and symmetry of any head (Figs. 276 and 277): (1) The circum-ference ; (2) the naso-occipital arc (N to T) ; (3) the nasobregmatic arc(N to /5) ; (4) the bregmatolambdoid arc (/5 to A) ; (5) the binauriculararc ; (6) the anteroposterior diameter (S to 0); (7) the greatest trans-verse diameter (length-breadth index); (8) the binauricular diameter;(9) the two auriculobregmatic radii; (10) the facial length; (11) theempirical greatest height (B to /?).
