That this may be the meeting place isproved by cases of tubal pregnancy. There are strong argu-ments, however, in favor of the fundus uteri as the normalmeeting place of spermatic particle and ovule. If ovulationoccurs at the height of menstrual congestion, the ovule hasprobably reached the uterine cavity before the fruitful coitusoccurs.
