An elderly Indian woman squats whilst making her morning chapatis in a small rural village near Jojawar in Rajasthan. She uses a charcoal fire to heat her pan and dry fry the chapatis. She has very few cooking utensils and those she does have show signs of having been used over an open fire. Her husband was sitting next to her smoking opium and awaiting his breakfast.
