Maj. Gen. James Hyatt, Air Forces Europe and Air Forces Africa Director of Operations, Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration meets Airman 1st Class Roman Contreras, 492nd Fighter Squadron aircrew flight equipment technician, during a visit to Uvda Air Force Base, Israel Nov. 25, 2013. Hyatt met with personnel from Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, Israeli Air Force leadership and other allied partners during the Blue Flag exercise, which ran from Nov. 24-28. Blue Flag was a multinational aerial warfare exercise hosted by Israel, which promoted improved operational capability, combat effectiveness, understanding and cooperation between the , Israel, Greece, and Italy.
