, Berlin, Germany, Europe - The hand of a climate protester of the so-called Last Generation (Letzte Generation) after police had removed the hand glued to the tarmac using cooking oil. The climate protection activist had glued himself along with other participants to a roadway on a main street at Ernst-Reuter-Platz in Berlin-Charlottenburg causing severe traffic disruptions. The major demands of the activists are an affordable 9-Euro ticket for everybody and an overall speed limit of 100 km/h on German highways. The group is also calling on the German government to take more drastic measures to cut greenhouse emissions, including stopping the use of all fossil fuels by 2030, as well as a society council.
