In 1898-1899 he acted as Oiland Food Inspector of Salt Lake Richards is still hearty andstrong physically, and is an active El-der in the Church. He resides in theEighteenth Ward, Salt Lake City. AVIDEKBOKG, Carl, a prominentElder in the Church, was born May 11,1814, in Gothenburg, Sweden: baptizedby Svend Larsen March 4, 1853, in Nor-way; labored a short time as a mis-sionary in Norway and after that forseveral years as translator and writerat the mission office in ; when the American Elders. ^ jnuro0^^ were called home in 1858, on acount ofthe Utah war.
