A Madrid Municipal Police car guards the main entrance to Gran Hotel Colon hotel, in downtown Madrid. On March 19th, the Gran Hotel Colon has become the first medicalized hotel in Spain hosting patients with coronavirus mild symptoms. Access to any unauthorized person is forbidden. The hotel features 365 bedrooms to host coronavirus patients in an attempt to relieve some pressure from crowded hospitals.
