Le Mans 2016. Close-up of used Dunlop slick tyres in a team's garage during the 2016 Le Mans 24 hrs race. The 24 Hours of Le Mans (or simply Le Mans) is the world's oldest active endurance sports car race. It has been held annually since 1923 near the town of Le Mans, France. Slick tyres have smooth treads with no grooves in order to maximum contact with the track and increase grip. Photographed on 19th June 2016.
