Tatyana hugs her mother tenderly to say goodbye before crossing the border. The war in Ukraine has caused the exodus of millions of Ukrainians who have been forced to leave their country engulfed in a horrendous war. Carrying the bare minimum, women and children have crossed the border to settle in Poland and other European countries with the sole desire to return soon.
