The Jethart Callant's Festival is held annually in the Scottish Border's town of Jedburgh to commemorate the historical skirmish between Scots and English armies, known as the Raid of Reidswire, in 1575. The 1575 encounter is often cited as the last battle between the two armies, and is immortalised in the poem by Sir Walter Scott 'The Raid Of The Reidswire'. (Photo: Rob Gray)
