The Terrace Garden of Cottesbrooke Hall in Northamptonshre, with its early summer borders filled with alliums and framed by the cascading foliage of a weeping beech tree. The terrace garden was designed by James Alexander-Sinclair. Cottesbrooke Hall is a Queen Anne period house dating from 1702, and is reputed to be the inspiration for Jane Austen's "Mansfield Park".
