1850s-60s historic atlas map of Moldavia / Moldova & Wallachia: 1859 merged as United Principalities, renamed Kingdom of Romania 1866

From Dr BUTLER'S Atlas, or ATLAS OF MODERN GEOGRAPHY by Samuel Butler MD and published by Longman, Rees, Orme, Brown & Green, London. - The atlas is undated in terms of a printed publication date, and without title page / covers. The cartographic style is advanced from an 1830s version in my possession so I am guessing this is published from the 1850-1860 period, and lacks the finesse of atlases produced towards the end of the 19th century. - The paper is somewhat foxed (yellowed) so I have taken some Yellow out of the Y channel, and I have cleaned up surface blemishes such as pencil marks and dirty patches on the map, and in one or two instances retouched minor printed imperfections, but otherwise the digital image is true to the appearance of the original in my possession. - By all accounts (at least according to the Bodleian Library) general Atlas map copyright in the UK exists for 70 years after the date of publication (when published by a company) - and not 70 years after the author's / originator's death as with literary works. This would appear to be out of copyright, but still do due diligence. See
