A Royal Mail postbox from the time of King George VI reign in Brixton, South London has been painted as part of Black History Month in is one of four to have been painted others are in Glasgow, Belfast, & Cardiff. It features 'Queuing at the RA' by British-Nigerian artist Yinka Shonibare, one of six artists who were commissioned by the Royal Mail to produce original artworks for a set of special stamps issued to mark the 250th anniversary of the Royal Academy (RA).
