When in the operating position they arepulled forward and the apron is tipped back and hookedto the bumper. The iron braces drop into slots at eachside, thus holding firmly until no longer required, whenthey are lifted out, the apron is dropped down and thewhole fender is pushed under the car, clearing bothcoupler and bumper.
