WASHINGTON (April 18, 2017) Vice Adm. Phil Cullom, left, deputy chief of naval operations for fleet readiness, and logistics, and Rear Adm. Takehisa Nakao, director general of Logistics Department, Maritime Staff Office, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), say goodbye after signing the Navy Logistics Interoperability and Integration Framework Terms of Reference (ToR). The ToR establishes a strategic oversight and governance construct to support refinement initiatives to achieve logistics interoperability and integration goals between the Navy and the JMSDF.
