Smoke over Buenos Aires, Argentina, satellite image. The muddy estuary (light brown) of the Rio de la Plata is at bottom right. Buenos Aires is the grey area on the lower river bank, near the top of the estuary. The smoke is from fires (outlined in red) set by farmers further up the river to clear land for livestock to graze.
