After a nearly a 3 year break, the Scarecrow Festival returned to Flamstead in August 2022. Scarecrows are created by the residents of Flamstead and each scarecrow is given a number. Visitors can vote for their favourite scarecrow. The festival organising the charity for 2022 was Friends of St. Leonard's Church.
