(Jan. 20, 2023) Boatswain's Mate Seaman Jose Reyna uses a baton to strike a pad held by Machinist's Mate Fireman Mackenzie Foy (right) and Machinist's Mate 1st Class Romy Duran (left) after being sprayed with oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray during USS Fort Lauderdale's (LPD 28) security reaction force basic (SRF-B) training at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. SRF-B is a two-week long, comprehensive course that provides baseline knowledge for Sailors to perform the role of sentry.
