Nicknamed 'Wellies' the shop rose from the ashes of the closed Woolworths store and was the brainchild of former Woolworths manager Claire Robertson who has employed many of the original Woolworths staff members. The store was officially re-opened by broadcaster Chris Evans on 11 March 2009.
