CHERRY POINT, (Feb. 27, 2009) President Barack Obama meets with service members and civilians at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point on his way to deliver remarks at Marine Corps Base Camp LeJune. Obama told the audience he plans to begin a withdrawal of combat troops from Iraq and by August 2010 to have about 50,000 troops in the country to provide training and counter-terrorism operations.
