Tis is one of a series of 30 photos taken during a ca 9 km hike in the valley from Santiago del Teide to Acantilados de Los Gigantes in Tenerife Spain. The hike, mostly downhill from 900 m to sea level offers varied landscape, villages and plant life. It used to be a Camino Real a main road connecting the villages before modern roads for motorized traffic were built. The hike is easily navigated due to signposts, steady footwear recommended.
