The fine wood-carvings in the choir(16-18th cent.) illustrate the life of St. Norbert, the founder ofthe Praemonstratensian order. From this point the Rue de Paris leadsvia the Marche aux Herbes (PI. B, 3 ; tramway-office) to the hand-some Place dArmes (PI. B, 3, 4), the timber dweUings in which date from the period of the Spanish occupation (17th cent.).
