Then again some builders don't do some of the things others do, because it costs too much to do them, and leave the larger profit they are bound to make you pay them. The bars are fastened to the ridge by a steel bracket. •J. Where bars need to be spliced, it is done with a special no-leak clamp tight joint. 3. The clamp column fittings are malleable iron, made to carry three bolts (not just one or two). 4. The capping over the pipe purlin end, keep- ing out moisture and preventing insects from lodging there. These are not all the things we do different. .Tust some of them.
