Ollanta Humala, former president, gave a press conference to foreign correspondents accredited in Peru (APEP), in which he denied having taken funds from abroad to finance his campaign and asserted that, when he served in the army, in conflict zones, he never violated human rights nor did he allow others to do so. Humala currently faces at least eight research processes on various topics.
