All sizes have thebacks finished so that in case of necessity they can stand out in the center ofthe room. Ilease read rreface of this No. 340. This is the finest and most substantial cylinder desk there is in the panels to the cylinder and the drawer fronts are veneered with Frenchwalnut (highly polished), and the cylinder part, in connection with the seriesof drawers below, is locked by one key in connection with machinery. The twolower right-hand drawers are made into one large drawer and contain book-racks. The large closet underneath the writing slide contains a shelf, whichdoes not in the least interfere with the legs when busy writing. This desk ismade in one size only, has finished panelled back and the writing slide is cov-ered with billiard cloth with a neat gilt border. It is a splendid and usefularticle, built in two parts to aid in handling, and has plenty of pigeon-hole,drawer and book room.
