A Hungarian hussars' sabre, 17th century Slightly curved, single-edged blade with double fullers on both sides and broadened, double-edged point. A row of saw tooth marks struck below the back of the blade, a pseudo-signature stamped in the fullers on one side. Sturdy, ridged quillons with geometrical pattern cut in the centre and thumb ring on the reverse. Double-riveted staghorn grip with iron pommel cap.
