Wild swim specialist and author Angela Jones aka 'The Wild Woman of The Wye' leads a 1km swim in the Monmouth section of the River Wye to raise awareness about the dire ecological condition of the River Wye and its continued deterioration. A replica coffin on a paddle board was lowered into the river and towed by Angela to represent the Death of the Wye. Her swim is part of #SaveTheWye an umbrella campaign to support and build the network of organisations and individuals working to protect and restore the health of the River Wye and its tributaries, for benefit of both wildlife and people
