The result was that two new strains were put in the "resistant" class. These varieties were named Wisconsin Glory and Wisconsin All Heads. Tests conducted on "sick" soil in Eacinc county this past year show these new resistant strains to be true to their breeding, according to R. E. Vaughan of the plant i)athology department, who has made several inspection trips to tht> trial fields this season. Good crops were Harvested from the rows planted to the new strains.
