Cut a fish out of stout writing-paper, and inthe center cut a round hole, as shown at A inthe figure; then from this cut out a narrowstrip reaching to the tail. Placing this paper fish in any long vessel fullof water, it will, when you are ready for it to doso, slowly move head first along the surface ofthe water without your touching it.
