D., Zanesville, O., son ofCalvin B. and Charlotte (Munsell) Hulbert, was born at EastSheldon, Vt., October, 1827. He finished fitting for college atThetford, under Dr. Orcutt, and graduated at Dartmouth in1853. He had taught during his studies, was principal ofSwanton (Vt.) Academy a year, and then taught in St. Albansfor two years. He finished his three years course at AndoverTheological Seminary in 1859; was licensed to preach bythe Derry, N. H., Association ; and was ordained and settledover the Congregational church at New Haven, Vt., in he found an excellent parish pleasantly situated, wherehis labors were signally blessed, 170 uniting with the church byprofession in ten years. He resigned in 1869, and in June,1870, he was installed over the Congregational church at Bellvilleavenue, Newark, N. J., where he remained a little over two years,.. C. B. , D. D.
