Gulfstream Aerospace Gulfstream G-111 The Gulfstream 111 was the first of the Gulfstream jets to be developed by Gulfstream American, which has since become Gulfstream Aerospace. It was a stretched version of the Gulfstream 11 featuring a new supercritical wing of increased span, winglets, increased fuel capacity and a reprofiled nose. Production ended in 1986. Three military examples were ordered by the Royal Danish Air Force. About 195 remain in service. The Gulfstream III, a business jet produced by Gulfstream Aerospace, is an all-weather, long-range, high speed aircraft powered by two Rolls-Royce Spey turbofan engines with thrust are two types of GIIIs in service. Earlier model GIIIs have a DC based electrical system, these are referred to as Non-VSCF (Variable Speed, Constant Frequency). Alternately newer GIIIs have an AC based electrical system, and are referred to as VSCF GIIIs. SCO2081
