Phoenix native, Col. Mark D. Collins (left), commander 82nd Sustainment Brigade, and New York native, Command Sgt. Maj. Alberto Delgado, senior enlisted adviser, 82nd SB, uncase their brigade's colors during a transfer of authority ceremony Oct. 29 at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. The 82nd SB took the reins as the Central Command Materiel Recovery Element from the 43rd SB which is headed home to Fort Carson, Colo. after a nine-month deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
