Thk headquarters of the Kimberlin Seed Co., for many years at Santa Clara, Cal., were removed to San Jose April 1. It is proposed to hold the annual meet- ing of the Iowa Seed Dealers' Associa- tion at Des Moines June 12, with a trip to Ames June 13. There are those who figure the quan- tity of seeds, to go into the ground as double that of last year. But where could double the number have been obtained? There never has been anything to com- pare with the gardening talks in the news- papers this spring—it is better advertis- ing than the seed trade could buy with double appropriations.
