Corpses exhumed from a mass grave in Ploemnitz, a sub-camp of Buchenwald. Buchenwald and its 139 sub-camps were forced labour camps not death camps and there were no gas chambers there. However poor conditions, abuse and executions led to 56500 deaths there. It liberated by the US Army on the 11th April 1945.
