NAS SIGONELLA, Sicily (Nov. 29, 2016) Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella Commanding Officer Capt. Brent Trickel presents a frocking letter to a newly-frocked Petty Officer 3rd Class Matthew Torrez during a frocking ceremony, Nov. 29. Twenty-six Sailors were frocked to the next pay grade of E-4, E-5 or E-6. NAS Sigonella is an operational ashore base that enables , allied, and partner nation forces to be where they are needed and when they are needed to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
