The church of St. Michael and All Angels and it’s graveyard, in the village of Littlebredy, in rural Dorset. England, United Kingdom.

A church has stood on this site in the village of Littlebredy since the 13th century, but what the visitor sees today is mainly a Victorian reconstruction built in about 1850. This was carried out by the third Robert Williams of Bridehead, to the designs of Benjamin Ferry, with additional architectural contributions from Williams’ brother in law, Arthur Acland. The only visible relics of the older church are the tower and the porch beneath it, and also some features in the chancel. One of the consequences of this reconstruction is that the church is quite unusual, and different in style from other churches in the area. For example there are relatively few churches in this part of Dorset with a spire.
