AMAZON RIVER, Brazil (Feb. 5, 2019) Brazilian fishermen operate off the starboard side of the Brazilian Navy Oswaldo Cruz-class hospital ship NAsH Carlos Chagas (U 19) as the ship transits the Amazon River, Feb. 5. Four Navy doctors will work with the Brazilian Navy aboard Chagas to exchange medical expertise with their counterparts and to bring medical care to isolated communities along the Amazon River.
