Marines assigned to the Ground Combat Element of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) practice a reconnaissance patrol during exercise Hedgehog 22 in Saaremaa, Estonia, May 20, 2022. The 22nd MEU is participating in the Estonian-led exercise Siil 22 (Hedgehog 22 in English). Siil 22 brings together members of the Estonian Defense Force and Sailors and Marines under Task Force 61/2 to enhance Allied interoperability and preserve security and stability in the Baltic region.
