SACK. Beyond Nahant are Swampscott, with its beautiful beaches; Mar-blehead, Salem, Beverly, Manchester, Magnolia and Glouceiiter. Salem Willows may be reached by steamer direct from Bos-ton. Here a fine fish dinner miay be had at one of the numerousrestaurants. A direct line of steamers also runs between Bostonand Gloucester. THE SOUTH SHORE. Thesteamersfortheprincipal South Shore resorts leave RowesWharf, 340 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, and follow the main ship chan-nel as far as Georges island and then diverge to the right for Hull,Nantasket, and Hingham; they alTord an excellent opportunity tosee the harbor.
