A very close up view of a tiny Pigmy Seahorse, Hippocampus Bargibanti, a pregnant male, found along the coast of Manado

A variation in color of the pigmy seahorse (hippocampus bargibanti). This critter was found in a gorgonian at 30m. Without artificial light the seafan and the seahorse looked yellow, once we lightened up it turned out to be quite orange. A beautiful variation from the most common white and red pigmy seahorse. This seahorse has got belly pocket which it means it is pregnant, therefore it is a male. I like the fact that the undisturbed coral kept the polyps out adding beauty the photo.
