The heavy iron barrel has a soul drawn with six grooves, and a straight rib, the visor grain is of brass, the visor is covered with an iron cap, stamped on top with a crowned EWB (?) monogram, inscribed in gold, followed by the inscription SAMVEL RIDDERSPORE, stamped to the left with a crowned shield with encased in brass and on the right with an unidentified sign in an oval. The wooden flask is varnished to simulate burr walnut and is simply cut, on the right cheek of the flask is a flask
