The com-mittee will agiin recommend the 2-inch train line, end valvesand location of pipes. The latter recommendation w:ll bechanged to show the dimensions taken from center line of car,instead of center line of coupler shank. The nipple recom-mended last year is again recommended, all dimensions beingshown. The committee found but a slight difference in nipplefurnished by the different manufacturers. In regard to steam hose—the present recommended practiceis ^% inches diameter. The committee finds but few roads areusing hose larger than i> inches, and there would not be any hi-i— 3-[
