A recruit with Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, crawls during a combat conditioning exercise at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, May 9. Physical training is utilized to strengthen the body and develop a strong character embodying our core values through teamwork. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate July 13.
