It is unnecessary to say that he must have been well quali-fied for the conduct of such a concern as he now possesses. He has now very extensive greenhouses,the aggregate surface of glass being no less than 45,000 square feet. His trade extends all over theNorthwest, even as far as the State of Washington, and its volume amounts to many thousands of dollarsannually. He cultivates all kinds of flowers and bedding plants
