The labor required to make re-pairs with this type of construction is very much re-duced, and no trouble arises from loose castings if theclamping screws are carefully tightened and preventedfrom unscrewing by prick-punching the heads. The General Electric Company has also adopted asimilar type of insulation in its recent controllers. Thisconsists of a shaft of hexagonal section wrapped withseveral thicknesses of thin sheet insulation cementedtogether.
