Texas Army National Guard Sgt. Jaymes Sendo claimed the Col. Ralph Puckett Award at the Army Small Arms Championships at Fort Benning, Georgia March 10-16, 2019. The Col. Ralph Puckett Trophy for excellence in marksmanship is presented to the combined top novice shooter from all the rifle and pistol Excellence in Competition matches. The annual, week-long competition that is hosted by the Army Marksmanship Unit is the Army's premier marksmanship competition that tests Soldiers on both their primary and secondary weapons through 11 different courses of fire.
