An E-11A pilot from the 430th Expeditionary Electronic Combat Squadron conducts aircraft familiarization training before another pilot’s first flight in the airframe April 4, 2019, at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. The 430th EECS is the only unit that operates these aircraft with the BACN payload, so Kandahar is the first place pilots fly this aircraft.
